My name is Karina, I'm 20 years old and I go to Broward College for
Communication Studies but plan to transfer to UM for web development. I've been
a horror fan since around eight years old. My first horror movie was Child's Play,
my mom told me I would like it. I did at the time but after that I started
liking Nightmare on Elm Street and became completely and utterly in love with
Jason Voorhees. I even have a tattoo of his mask on my left ankle because I
really fell in love with the series over the years. Other than that I’ve
always had an interesting in supernatural things that no one else really likes
to learn about.
I wanted to take this class so I could further more become educated with
literature that involves supernatural elements, maybe find out some more horror
pieces to read and such. Aside from other literature classes I feel like I
would enjoy this topic the most seeing as supernatural things are my favorite
kind of things to study. I am looking forward to ten hours of movies and/or
shows we have to watch and relate back into our blogs. If there is one thing I like
doing, it is watching shows so this should be easy.
Hey Karina, I'm also a Jason and Freddy fan those two are amazing when it comes to horror and combining them in those movies I enjoyed and that is cool about your Jason mask tattoo, i love tattoos so i found that pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteChilds play was one of my first horror movies too. I also loved Nightmare on Elm Street with freddy. I love to learn about supernatural things too and I also have always thought a lot of people wouldnt like to learn about it either.
ReplyDeleteHah, you're background is awesome, though I love a good Friday the 13th movie; I'm a HUGE Nightmare on Elm Street fan. Plus I think we both took this class for the same reasons which is pretty cool. It's always great to be learning about what you love.
ReplyDeleteI think it's awesome how you are able to watch movies like Nightmare on Elm Street and not get scared because I do get spooked from time to time. I wish i could watch it without closing my eyes from time to time. I also really like the way your blogs looks.
